CUI & Public Trust

  • Ensure compliance with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) safeguarding requirements

  • Conduct pre-employment suitability checks for Public Trust positions

  • Coordinate background investigation

  • Validate identity and employment eligibility

  • Maintain records of adjudication decisions for CUI and Public Trust roles

  • Monitor and update investigation status tracking systems

  • Conduct annual CUI awareness and security training

  • Review (Questionnaire for Public Trust Positions) forms for completeness

  • Ensure proper marking, handling, and storage of CUI

Clearances

  • Assist applicants in completing SF-86 (Questionnaire for National Security Positions)

  • Assist in submiting clearance requests to Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) or other agency systems

  • Coordinate fingerprinting and biometric submissions

  • Prepare and submit adjudication packages for final review

  • Handle Periodic Reinvestigations (PRs) and Continuous Vetting (CV) requirements

  • Maintain secure personnel security files in compliance with federal standards

  • Provide security briefings and debriefings

  • Coordinate incident reporting

  • Conduct out-processing security steps (badge return, clearance termination notices)

Contract Awards & Proposals

  • Provide security requirement analysis for Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) responses

  • Identify and document required facility and personnel clearances for contract eligibility

  • Advise on compliance with National Industrial Security Program (NISP) requirements

  • Prepare security volumes and documentation for proposal submissions

  • Assist with developing Security Plans, DD254s, and safeguarding requirements

  • Review Statement of Work (SOW) for security-related obligations

  • Coordinate with Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) on pre-award security questions

  • Ensure Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) handling procedures are included in proposals

  • Support pre-award facility clearance sponsorship and FCL processing

  • Assist with foreign ownership, control, or influence (FOCI) mitigation requirements

  • Provide security risk assessments to strengthen competitive advantage in proposals
